Domains and business email
Your domain, your DNS records and the email sent in your brand's name.
U01 · Infrastructure · Infrastructure
Domains and email are a company’s oldest and most forgotten infrastructure. A domain whose renewal date slips, or a mail server without authentication records, makes even the best software invisible.
We start with an inventory: where the domains are registered, who manages DNS, which server sends the mail. Then the records are brought together in one place, email authentication is set up and the mail your site or app sends is tied into the same setup.
What gets built
- 01Domain choice, registration and renewal tracking
- 02DNS management, redirects and SSL on Cloudflare
- 03Business email accounts and mailbox setup
- 04Sender authentication with SPF, DKIM and DMARC
- 05SMTP setup for site and app email (forms, orders, password resets)
- 06Migration from a previous email provider
Frequently asked
Why does our email land in spam?
The most common reason is missing or wrong SPF, DKIM and DMARC records, which tell receiving servers which servers may send for your domain. Once they are fixed, receivers can verify that the mail really comes from you.
Our domain is registered elsewhere. Do we need to move it?
No. The domain can stay where it is; we manage DNS and set up email through an account you give us access to.
